In the first seminar organised by Rector Trainor, Revd Andrew Allen will discuss how society has remembered the millions who died in the First World War, and the role that three Exonians played in shaping our commemoration of them.

100 years on from the outbreak of World War One, Exeter's chaplain, Andrew Allen, and Rector Cairncross travelled to Italy, France and Flanders to visit the graves of Exeter's war dead and pay the College's respect.
